Customs transit - customs procedure according to which goods are transported under customs control from the customs authority of departure to the customs authority of destination without payment of customs duties and taxes.

The customs transit procedure is applied in cases where the place of arrival of the goods differs from the planned place of customs clearance.

When the place of departure of goods from the customs territory of the EAEU differs from the place of customs clearance while placing the exported goods under the final procedures of re-export, export after temporary import or processing, the customs transit procedure is also applied.
